its what i started on.. its extreamly well balanced, wheelies it self..chuggs along on idle..stoppies great.. only issue i ever had is if the tank is low on gas it sputters...so dont go too deep with the dent!
other than that its a beast! i miss mine now

i've never had the priviledge of stunting one in a lot but i have ridden my buddies 97 back in 2004 when all i did was highway wheelies and i thought it was extremely comfortable, and once you get it to balance point it has such a broad balance point and just kindof floats. also the man who taught me how to stunt rode a 93 900rr, and would murder it, plus another guy i rode with was incredibly smooth with his fib circles, stoppies, and sitdown scrapes. matt gorkas vid of a 937 footer is also on a 900rr. i sure wish i had one. but if i did it would be a minty fresh 99 BLK/RED or YEL/WHT/BLK and i would only put an exhaust, grip tape on the tank, and a handbrake, 1 down 2 up, and nothing else

back in the day it was a good stunt bike but now parts are getting damn near impossible to find and it is heavy as hell ..
a fuel injected 600 would be a much better choice

well if you ignore the fact that a fuel injected 600 runs better is more reliable and is lighter probably makes as much power as a 900rr and every one makes parts for them then ya your probably right

different strokes for different folks. some people like old cars and some people like new cars. everything has pros and cons, so the best thing for a person to do is choose which pros and cons they can live with.
900rr makes alot more hp and torque than a modern 600. power to weight ratios may be different, but the difference in weight and how nimble each bike is for stunting, is not major. it only is if your riding style is dancing around on a bike doing circles all day. no electronic garbage sensors to worry about and much easier to troubleshoot when its broke. problems dont always trigger a cel and with modern vehicles. i'm always seeing threads about people losing their mind trying to troubleshoot one. the only thing i really like about a modern vehicle is that the timing and fuel ratio is precisely calculated to run optimally due to different conditions and ambient atmoshperic conditions.

holy **** I gotta chime in
You sir are smokin some good ****.
900RRs are good for 120 or so rwhp.
954 are at least at 135+rwhp
636s are great but they are maybe 115rwhp and way lighter. This is no google bs, i'll look it up and post back up. I think i'm pretty close with those figures.
