yes solid pegs do give way some times , the solid peg hits the ground alot and doesnt fold so the bolt holding it to the subcage takes alot of abuse and thats all good as long as it breaks off when it hits the ground[happened to cole a few weeks ago] but if the bolt is weak from hitting the ground and you jump on it yes it can give way ..

also solid pegs come loose some times and when they do you dont even have to miss the peg cause when you put your foot on a loose solid peg it rolls and your foot slides off , seen this scenario just the other night at the spot on cody's bike ..

i have fixed and re welded so many solid peg subcages for people the other companies should be paying me for doing there warranty work ...lol

oh and as far as you not bending a subframe thats good but to be honest you dont crash much any more..

Re: what you think about the cage?

the bolts i used on mine could never break. lol my bike would be in two pieces first. half inch hardened machine bolts. got tons in my shop. no chance of breakin em. THREADLOCKER, buy a bottle kids. works wonders. or youll spend more time tightening bolts thab riding...

not to mention how many times i have seen solid pegs come loose so the peg spins when you stand on it and your foot rolls right off the peg ...

just sayin

this is an f4i subframe with the mounting tab ripped right off from a solid peg subcage

i like to fold my pegs up when im doing stoppies just incase , cant do that with a solid peg

and if you have ever caught the back of you leg on a solid peg you would understand the advantage of folding pegs ..

people make solid peg subcages because they are easier and cheaper to make not because they are better , in my opinion solid peg subcages do more harm then good..
How long have you been using this pic for marketing...?? Thats adam woods and the peg didnt even hit em. I woulod be more concernedwith the 400lb bike thats on top of me...

Re: what you think about the cage?

I thanks people like what they like. I like OMR stuff for the beginner but the solid pegs for the pro. I prefer the solid pegs for me just what I got use to but then again I will never brake a subframe peg mount with my C4 line of steel subframes. But you guys stuff all looks good.

Re: what you think about the cage?

Flame suit on how many people are there out there copying the same basic design for cages and subcages seems to me that any one with a welding set and tube bender is in bussiness basically ripping off someone elses design nothing radically new and nearly all claim to be better than others. I think there is always room in the market for new ideas but it just seems that its easier to copy someone else, even here in the uk you can buy a more or less an exact copy of a sick cage and its claimed to be better (of course) why not support the people out there who put the hard work in the first place. I for one will always support the innovators as they deserve it for their hard work making the designs. rant over peace

ya people need to at least try to be original and come up with their own design not just copy some one else and i added the words ''the original folding peg subcage'' when people started copying mine ..

and as far as dc saying omr subcage are for beginners , some of the best riders all over the world buy omr subcages even when they are sponsored by other companies they still buy omr subcages because they like the design and for the better peg position , the last few stuntwars events i was at had more riders on omr subcage then all other brands .. just sayin

Re: what you think about the cage?

first off, the pegs fold angle on the omr vs. stock is a genius design, it totally elliminates the risk of the peg folding.
take it from a guy who once made a stock peg fixed and ended up with it in his ankle.
folding pegs are the way to go.
like OMR said, just remember to fold em up when not in use.
