i got to make a toggle switch to replace the ignition, but heard all this talk of honda using resistors or whatever... what do i need and what wires should i use? any help appreciated.

why dont you just move the ignition to the support bar in front of the engine much easier if you just want it out the way

Honda is 2.2k ohm, 1/2 watt 5% tolerance. if you take apart your ignition you could probally use the original one. Which wires i'm not sure of, get a schematic or see whats whats before cutting and get xtra fuses should you put the wrong wires together.

i know its the pink wire that is resisted...thats about all i know...lol just use a stock sw. and be done w/ it

do you think i could get one of them at radio shack or something? and i should find a ignition hot wire (12v) and run the resistor off it to make it 7v to send back in the ecm?
