2008 R6 Dies when Put In Gear!!

Re: 2008 R6 Dies when Put In Gear!!
With the factory clutch switch unplugged - the bike will only start in Neutral.
If you bypass your clutch switch, the bike can be started in gear regardless of kickstand up or down.
If you take a stock bike and start it, it will run in neutral on the kickstand. If you put the bike in gear before raising your kickstand, it will shut off the motor.
So check that your Neutral light comes on when the bike is in neutral.
The clutch switch will not make the bike shut off once running - it only requires you to pull in the clutch to start the motor when the bike is in gear, such as stalling out from a stop.
As for testing... those switches only have 2 modes. Open or Closed. Complete the electrical circuit (on), open the circuit (off).
Hope this helps.

Had this same problem bro u gotta take the nutruel safety switch wire and ground it out. You nutuel light will stay on but your bike wont stall when u put it in gear. i never found out the issue or why it was doing it but it happened to me when i swapped a motor on a r6 then the same thing on my r1. ground the wire out thats goin to the switch. I tried all the above steps kickstand clutch blah blah test light power probe and it came down to me taking a wire and plugging it into the stock nutruel safety wire and grounding it out on the other side. pm me if u have any questions.
