How many times did you fall learning how to do a 12 o'clock?
I've wiped three times trying to do 12's. Yesterday was #3. I keep bailing out when i drop it past the balance point. I was all over the brake and just took my feet off the foot pegs as I slowly dropped back and let go of the bike. I guess im scared that the bike will fall on me or something. The tail isn't broken, its just roughed up along with the light lense. It's everything else thats broken. How many times have you wiped and how long did it take you to finally get it down? What am I doing wrong?

Everybody is different....differnet strokes for different folks. It really depends on how hard you push yourself. Some people crash mulitple times and some have never crashed while learning 12's.
The only time I crashed while learning was when I was trying to park it for the first time...forgot to pull in the clutch . But then again, I probably wasn't pushing myself hard enough in the begining phases.

I couldent just sit around and say ok getting better and do that for like 2 months......No I would rather wreck time after time trying to get it down but I have a lot of friends that took the slow approach and have never crashed but after awhile it gets on my damn nerves its like NUT THE FUKKKK UP... I mean sooner or later your going to have to take a chance if you really want to be a stunter u know...

I crashed once- No one was really doing 12's back then, I just figured if I dumped the clutch and got it verticle then stabbed the brake I could ride it out. WRONG I just sent the bike flipping out from under me. Yo RobR6, You will definately get it soon, You picked everthing else up so quick. keep trying to ride the brake and do slow wheelies, don't worry about hitting the tail untill you can controll it better, then it will come easy.
