i got a wrecked 2001 f4i from my buddy that needs a new front end so i can build me a new toy. if i get the stock tripple clamps for the f4i could i use 45mm forks from a 98 gsxr6 ??? it had a 929 front on before but clamps n fork tubes were broke... this things been through one hell of a wreck... im tryin to build this on a budget and have the gsxr6 forks n wheel layin around.

 

stock f4i is 43mm.
