I don't know, I'm not an expert. but in those bad pictures it looks like the sub cage is on backwards. If you flip it around the exhaust tab will be on the right side. you might have to modify your plastics. just my guess. give it a try!

1. That Stoppie clip has to be one of the sickest clips of a stoppie I have
ever seen . <--- PERIOD

2. I ran a 905 cage on my 900RR (yes thats how I roll) and have pancaked
it, thrown it to the ground, and never had a broken cover yet. that cage
was the BEST investment I have ever bought for that bike..

you know whats fucked, most stunters I meet in real life and NOT online, haven't heard of OMR, SI, powers, or any of them for the most part

Most people I run into run FI or 905, and when I talk the brands down, instantly act like I'm the crazy one for running these 'internet brands'

agreed! my dude had 905 on his 900 back in the day (lol) and the bike lived as a stunt bike for like 6 - 7 years, **** I think its still being stunted to this day (he sold it) but yeah it got its *** beat every day and dropped A LOT!

I on the other hand had an FI cage (if you wanna call it that) basically frame sliders and a hoop. dropped my bike while dragging the bar at like 2mph - so basically fell over from 12o'clock and it broke the motor mount.... welded up that motor mount - dropped it on the other side a year later with the same result - off on a tangent now LOL but I have seen 905 hold up to abuse!!!

Plus I know they used to sponsor a LOT of riders (some were my friends) and they were just coming up - Pretty sure they still do a lot of sponsorship, Thats great for the sport!!!

All these new companies for all you 2006 up stunters who have it so easy cause everyone and there mom makes cages complain way much. Yeah NOW there is better cages then 905 but so ******* what then buy the others and stop trashing 905. I never had a prob with there ****. How about this learn how to ride and not through your bike down the damn road. There are guys still to this day still riding FI cages that don't bitch about those but alls these newbs come on here crying about this and that cage. **** when I started all we had were sliders, how about you squids learn only using those and also try to figure out every move out there without someone telling you how to like back in the day and then complain. You ******* newer guys don't relize how easy you have it wirh all these new sites and companies it's unreal. Stop your bitching on here and go ride my god.

p.s. it looks like he has it mounted wrong anyhow.
Yeah I guess I'm a hater for not liking a product I see fail on a 20mph low side

if a product isn't as good as another, someone isn't a 'hater' for dis liking it.

I'm tired of people like you throwing around the word 'hater' anytime someone doesn't like something you like!

Should I run sliders so I can purchase a new stator cover monthly, if not weekly? Or should I just purchase/build a good cage that will last me years without breaking any rear sets/case covers or scratching the **** out of my plastics?

People give feedback on products so others don't waste money. If you don't want to hear feedback, then don't open threads talking about products. Waste your money if you wish, I'll spend my money on quality products that I have read reviews on. I'd rather not purchase multiple cages and parts for my bike testing them myself when I've seen them fail or have read about how crappy are, or can simpy LOOK a the design and see its a **** design.

edit: don't get me wrong though, years ago when people were running sliders, 'small time' stunters weren't working on technical tricks. **** has changed and I'm sure you know that. Just look at a single AZ hotsauce video, think about how much damage would be caused EVERY SINGLE video if they ran 'sliders'

LOL, I'm plannin on running a tygershark cage for my next bike (prolly 05 636?)
I made one similar to there design a few years ago minus the spring loaded slider.... I would just make another one but my ex partner took most of our equipment... ******

I'm cheap, and enjoy working on **** myself So I kinda copied the tygershark designed, mixed with the MXD design for my f4i, except used even stronger material and aluminum sliders

Yeah I feel ya on that, looks good!

I made a mix of the tygershark (twin 3/4" moly) and mounted it like the stuntworks cages... and I also turned down aluminum sliders!
on the 636 and gixxer ones I made I also ran a threaded rod through the sub frame where it mounted on the back of the cage, just for some more rigidity... worked out pretty sweet! I gotta find my pics
