Whats the best way to hid all the wiring?
On my 02 f4i, I have an acrebis headlight but I'm havin a hard time "hiding" all the wires behind it.
Is there any wires I can get rid of? I want the front end to look somewhat clean and not wires hangin everywhere.

you gotta figure out which ones you don't need..and try not to hack the main harness up...tap in with scotchlocks if you gotta. i put mine in the neck of the frame(where the air control valve was), but i think some just tuck them into the airbox.

There is alot of **** you can cut out,get a service manual pdf file,or buy one from the dealer, they have the wires all color coded and tell ya what they are for.it takes alot of time but worth it in the end.

yea DON'T CUT the harness! my dumbass did that to my stunt bike and i ended up having to re-solder the harness back together because it wouldn't start.
on the good note i got really good at soldering

also another thing to do is get the little black plastic tubing that already exists on various parts of the bike, get a whole package of the stuff at the store for only a few bucks, or if your like me just steal it from work, and run your wires through those things + in addition to zip ties and use nice quality connectors that are all the same color. theres ways to make it look like a proffessional job just takes alot of time and is a pain in the *** to do. i've got mine all pimped out with quick easy disconnect connectors and everything. learned all this from my friend brandon who is a complete lunatic about maintaining his bike. and if you cant clean up certain wires because they are not long enough to route them where you need to then just get some more wire and make them longer.

okay, DONT CUT THE HARNESS IF U DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING. If u do. then cut away. I cut everything off my f4i. I cut it all on the harness side so the connectors would be gone. Shrinkwraped everything exposed. Soldered every connection. Eliminated everything electrical on the bars. Added start and kill switches down on the intake covers. Moved my ignition into the tail. If its not gonna be pretty again then cut away. Why wouldnt you???

thats because you cut the tip sensor connection off and didnt reconnect it.

as far as the tip sensor wires, i just jumped the main harness in two spots with scotchlocks. redundant system you know.

why do you want it intact. Ill never plug turnsignal relays, clutch sensor, kickstand sensor, turnsignal power, or stock headlights in again. So i cut it all off. To be honest youll have less electrical problems cuz you wont have a hairball of wires sitting on your header or getting cut by something and grounding out. when u see it off the bike its a TON OF ****.. lol

its up to you, much cleaner when its cut. No Hacking. If u cant read the wire relay pdf then dont attempt. But if ur good at soldering, and know whats up, youll have less problems if u cut the **** off. IMO.
i dont know what your worried about. Wires arent magic. If u cut em they dont get mad at you. lol. Just dont cut anything you dont know what it is. And your bike probably isnt worth more than 2500 bucks so its not gonna affect resale. lol
