Hey whast up, a spreader bar would go either side of the cage on the second horzontal bar down and go behind the headers, the bar is welded on the left hand side and would have tread in the middle of the bar on the right hand side where you would put a bolt and nut on. Then undo the bolt so it goes tite against either side of the cage, this then spreads the load on impact as the 636 03/04 is very weak on the head. I know someone has done this and it seems to work very well. I hope you understand what i mean, il try and do a picture
Ive seen a few pics of F4i riders from europe somewhere with a cage that has a support bar going in behind the exhaust headers. I think this is what he means, and if you think about it it would brace the impact very well.

found the picture, I think this is what hanksy was talking about. In theory a bar in behind the headers would be closer to the impact point on the cage and have less leverage to twist.

whats up with the rearsets? I need to get this 636 going cause I just got back from the ATL and man this no cage **** is holding me back bad so I need those rearsets done so I can order it all at once please.. lol
