handbrake question

just went and picked up a F3 last night... its fully set up and this is my first stuntbike with a handbrake... its a good setup with steel braided lines and all BUT when you pull it in its too damn stiff.... you cant adjust the pressure much.. it either on or off.... now to me this sounds like its going to do nothing but mousetrap all day long.... so how do i go about adjusting it so i can use small or large amounts of pressure????

thanks alot

A lot of HB's have that "on/off" feel, such as the Brembo 16x18. Either you're going to have to (1)...get used to it (2) get a different HB, such as a Magura 13mm, or (3) let a little air INTO your line, giving you a squishier feel. The third option is highly debateable as to its safety. I did it with my footbrake on my first stuntbike, with no issues......but I have heard that others have had problems. Good luck!
