Re: Stunters Edge Magazine in book store this January

kah707 you have the first issue that was only sold at events and on the internet. The issue coming out is our issue 2 but the first issue to be sold in book stores and it is different that yours.
The first issue will never be sold again. We may release a similar version to that one but never the same. The people that helped me out with the first one need the exposure in the stores also. It will be late in the year though.
So long story short. If you have the original first issue it may be worth something one day, as it will never be reprinted.

Hey johnyrocket sorry about the delay. Our growth has been so fast we are a little behind. The new issue is at the printer and you should receive your copy in a couple weeks.

Yes we are behind. I would rather cover the events I said we would cover from last year than cut them and move on. We are new and want to fallow through with what we promised.
About Kyle he is an awesome person and rider. You should read his story and then criticize.

What is the deal with FL. The coverage for this issue is XDL Lake Havasu Arazona, XDL Nashville, King of South TN, and Starboyz OH.
If I remember you were only at the XDL comps so you may not know about the others on the East coast that are not in FL.

Thanks for all your support.

Re: Stunters Edge Magazine in book store this January

We are out every 2 months. We were picked up by a national distributor in December. We waited about 3 weeks to get all the orders in before we printed. The more we print the less cost per copy.

Re: Stunters Edge Magazine in book store this January

When and if I ever get outta this financial rut I will gladly send you my $$ and get a subscription,I'm diggin the T's and Hoodies also,They don't have HUGE,gaudy quotes all over the front/back of the clothes,PLEASE keep it that way,I personally don't know many people that like to look like a walking billboard...but to each thier own I guess...

I see that the only place that will carry your mag in every state is, "Barnes & Noble"

Do you know what Barnes&noble location/city in Michigan will stock "stunters edge" mag. I may not be able to get a subcription right now but I sure as hell can afford an issue or 2.

fair enough, just wondering really

About Kyle he is an awesome person and rider. You should read his story and then criticize.
i know. i know first hand. i don't think i need to do a history lesson of XXX/DTE/Cuba/etc. my only criticism was the cover with Kyle woods and the 'slow wheelies revealed'...made me wonder whether it was 2010 or 2004 kyle does his thing for sure, like i said...but for all intents and purposes is irrelevant to today's stuntriding world (minus his SW judging and SE involvement). my 2 pence

the FL thing is the same comment i made to you at Indy xdl. I know about pretty much every comp out there, i'm from new england and this is my business...FL comment had nothing to do with the event coverage, more like the magazine itself. again, my opinion and the same one i expressed in person on day 1. again, as a RIDER, i wonder why I'm reading about the first xdl event of 09 in January of 2010 when the entire season has already happened? is there gonna be xdl indy 09 coverage combined with xdl daytona or TN? THAT'S why i ask that.
don't take my questions and criticism as hate at all, bc i'm not. i know it looks like hate bc i'm 'jealous' bc i work at SR or whatever, but im very good at compartmentalizing things and have no problem stepping back and looking at something from a purely riders' perspective.

all my comments and questions are ones that i think ANY educated stuntrider, or someone who has been in the game since the beginning, would ask. it DOES irk me as a RIDER that so many people have been doing work in the this sport and in just the past 2-3 years have comes farther than we have in the prior 8+ years...and the cover of SE is Woods and slow wheelies! lol no denying kyle's influence or participation or OG status by any means; but just because i'm one of the few to actually speak up and say what I think, doesn't mean that I'm the minority OR that I'm hating.

so AGAIN, congrats, nice work, and I'll be sure to buy a copy from the store so that they purchase the next issue and i can buy that one too.

see you at Daytona XDL!
