There is nothing origanal about knurled stock.. And he didnt copy you plastic ends... so i dont think he is copying you at all. simple knurling is so basic i dont think anyone can call dibs on it. the simplest solution is most likely the one most practiced...

DB pegs. Not sure exactly what model, though. I took the titanium pegs off my YZ450F and adapted them to my old FZ1 stunt bike. They're nice, for the front.

have you ever though about doing some flat ones that are like DB pegs? I have WASTED ankles and have to actually run DB pegs on my bike so that I have ANY brake control or stability. I know borne runs them too. Just a thought......
