Most you can get for Reckless driving is a traffic misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $200. in TEXAS

In your original post you said you can see the cop 9 cars back with no lights on. I have pretty damn near perfect eyes and I got nothing here. Anyone see the cop?

i figured the cop was the second car on the left WAY the hell back there, because the car is white. but i still have no idea where he came from and he woudlnt tell me when i kept asking. the only thing he said is he was chasing me and i wouldnt stop. so idk

A guy I ride with was just pulling into a gas station earlier this month, cop jumped the curb hit him. And arrested him in the hospital, for fleeing!
FTPI got arrested for the same BS a few years ago but I wasn't even on my bike! I was in my truck, pulled in my driveway went in my house. cop knocks on the door I answer it and he said I was under arrest for fleeing!!!
I guess he wanted to pull me over for no seat belt.. wth there was no cop close behind me non-less with his lights on, no cop in my yard or anything when I went in the house.. AND I ANSWERED THE DOOR TO HIM!
Oh and now I have an assault on a police officer that comes up every time I get pulled over or anything!
I guess even if I was fleeing that means I assaulted him!
******* pigs!Went in front of the judge and he dismissed it saying he didn't believe I was fleeing!

Let me know how u make out in these charges , always interesting on what u can/ can't get away with nowadays and how judges and prosecutors handle the situation
