mines a 2.2. 5 speed it get CRAZY miliage.....if its the shift fork its not that hard to do.....take a while but not a biggie

will your shifter move or is it stuck?? this is why the 4.3' are junk....LOL the motors are not good and the trannys are junk....my truck has almost 200,000 on it and it runs better than it did the day it came off the lot

The shifter will move but the trans is stuck in 4th....You can move the shifter to neutral and let out the clutch slowly and it will try to go forward.....it will die cause its forth but you know what the hell.
