I just got my twelve bar today and am wonder'n how you guys mount them because there's that electronic metal box with fins bolted to the left side of the sub-frame. Do you guys take the box off, mount the 12 bar and then bolt the box to the side of the twelve bar???

on my my buddies 929 we jsut moved it to the trunk and screwed it to the undertail. works good

i don't have any upcloses of that box (rectifier) unfortunately but i just moved mine into the trunk area. After we did that i realized that it would have fit just fine and i could have bolted up the 12 bar under it (my 12 bar doesn't extend too much further forward) and it would have been fine. Make sure you use grade 8 or 10 bolts. If you need anymore tips just send me an e-mail.

...........I just mounted my bar and then put the box back on. It went back just fine.

i didnt have to move the box. the bar just missed it. by a "C" hair
