Can we post pics of handbrake setups?

Ive got a gixxer radial (full length lever) and a moose ez (full length). now I want to set it up so that I am grabbing the farthest end of the handbrake for more stopping power, but in order to to that I am limited as to how I can set this up with this radial. Before the radial leaves the brake to far away. After the radial is better. Can we get some pics up of handbrake setups (with gixxer radial and moose or msr levers) thanks homo's!

Re: Can we post pics of handbrake setups?

You should just get a magura and you wont need the end of the lever to get stoping power.lol get a magura or a brembo and it will work like money

Re: Can we post pics of handbrake setups?

i dont see how you couldnt get it to line up... u must be doin something wrong. the only problem youll run into with the 3/4nissin is if ur clutch perch lets the line out angled toward the bar(most db's do). Then the line wants to hit the banjo, but its really not a big deal... Just get a wirtz pro perch for 30 bucks... explain why you cant get it to line up, maybe i can help. Cuz with a raptor the line outlet should be adjustable, so u should have no problems...

slap nuts slide your HB all the way in and put your clutch on the other side of the master and you will have alot more feel and power with your break.

Ive never worked out why people cut the brake lever down
You get more leverage and the feel so much more

My guess is he's running a dual 4-piston bracket. With that Magura hooked up to a 4-piston, there is PLENTY of feel and power with your finger sitting in the bend of the lever. I have mine setup identical, but with an RSC.........and it's awesome. Add a full length lever to the clutch, and slide it in a bit more, and you'll have the most buttery clutch you've ever felt.......makes two-finger operation almost rediculously smooth. 4-piston + Magura 13mm + full length clutch lever on the inside = never a sore clutch or HB finger ever again...

When you have a Magura 13mm hooked up to a 4-piston, there is no need for a full length lever...

You're running the 13mm with the 4 piston? I see most people swap the 13mm to the 16mm with the 4 piston

Re: Can we post pics of handbrake setups?

I run the gix radial for the front brakes and HB, I had to grind it a little to get the perfect fit

There is way better feel and perfect power with the 16mm over the 13mm with a 4 piston caliper
