dirt bars on 600rr??

i got a 600rr front end for my f4i and the 600rr triple is slanted on a pitch. just wondering what you guys use for clamps??I dont want to much height the bars are tall already. Or is there another triple that will work that is flat?

LOL i dont no man i rode my guys bike and it was real nice. plus i got some brand new fat bars just sitting in a box and want to put them to good use

If you flip the tripple upside down, and drill directly in the center of the 2 indents in the casting of the triple, there is just enough room to fit dirt bar risers, I did it to 2 of my friends 600rr's with 05 forks

You also have to either use a super thin wall socket, or shave about 1/16th off the inside of your mx bar risers using Tag risers, so that you can tighten the top triple nut


edit: incase I wasn't clear, you mount the triple right side up.. Just flip it upside down to see where you drill the holes..

do what towliee said. i did the same thing. but i used pro taper risers that come with the tripple for a cr250 i think. instead of having a threaded rod on the riser and a nut on the bottom, mine uses an allen bolt that goes from under and screws into the riser using a ball allen. im lovin the dirt bars!

If ur gonna go dbs go with FTI Darwin bars, they look are super solid and you dont have to go welding or drilling clamps in ur triple dig. Got'em on my rr Ill send you pics if u want.

Dirtbike bars are tight, my only problem currently is that i cant push them out far enough because im full fairing so my arms hurt after awhile of seat standers
