Re: hauling

so after going and buying some lights. (walmart driving lights- $16.00)(55watts)
i have a toggle flush mount switch in the cab under the steering wheel. good location for quick access front outside. The van measures 9'4" from the divider to the rear door and 5'6" from wall to wall. going to go and buy a nice arched ramp. loaded with the homemade ramop in the picture by myself. was ok, aside from taking bike out, backwards, but still managable. i ampretty sure i can fit both my bikes in here with ease! and my gear and tools.
also i am planning on mounting some KC or other lights on a light bar on a homemade bar on the top of the van..

will post daylight pics when i can. thanks!!!

My old Subaru worked great for hauling bikes and I averaged around 25mpg as well with a loaded down trailer.

i wouldnt want one for hauling bikes, you are pretty much limited to one bike in the bed (with the gate down). and the v6 sucks on gas pulling a trailer... other than that they are pretty cool though.

everything is fine on the van, in working order. jsut need paint on the bumpers. all doors work and its got the single slider on the passenger side.... but yeah. now its just customizing with some vinyls, paint, n lights. and putting some d rings in the floor for the bikes
