It hurt ME watching the video. and I have no stake in this. That's his life, with his name on it, and his ideas and dreams.

I'm sure that's a tough comeback to make, and I am equally sure if he ants to stick around the MC industry and wait for the rebound, he'll find something worthwhile to do.

I need to talk to a dealer. If I can get my 10% supplier discount on top of that I would pick up a 1125R for sure.

Hells yeah... then u can bring it down and Let Borne run that thing into a Dumpster. A MOBILE dumpster at that

I have always loved Buells. Such cool bikes, and the 1125r is so fast now that its water cooled and got 6 gears! A sad day in the MC industry

If I had a new ride on mower I wouldn't let borne ride it after that. Lucally it was a motard and somewhat unbreakable. Other then the gauges shattering it was just a couple scratches.

Borne single handedly broke every SRAD rearset available in the greater detroit area about 3 years ago.

Re: Buell to shut down

I just saw that a dealer down here in Texas is selling brand new 1125R's for $5445. Unreal.

I had a '96 Buell S1 with all the right engine mods, and it was a really fun bike. Put down 84hp and 80lbf of torque. 80lbf is TON of torque on a bike that had the shortest wheelbase of any bike made up to that time. The first gen ZX-10R was the next bike to own that title. It was a maintenance nightmare though, and I ended up starving the front cylinder over time and popping the motor. I'll still sad to see the company shut-down though.
