stunt insurance

My friend and I have been trying to book a couple shows around our area and the first question they ask is if we have liability insurance. Does anyone here have it to cover property damage and spectator injury? I can't seem to find any insurance company's that will cover it.

Re: stunt insurance

I would think so too but if you were holding a show your insurance company might argue the circumstances. And those waivers you could make them sign dont hold up in court. So you could still get sued. Say yes and hop to god u dont crash..lol

Either way your gettin fuked if you hurt someone and the insurance company not paying **** because you didn't have the right setup for the show if bikes are running into people.

Re: stunt insurance

no, basic liability insurance does not cover you performing stunts in close vicinity to spectators. it covers you riding down the road obeying all of the laws of the road.

Re: stunt insurance

Form an LLC and then you can insure the business. You might want to look into having an "umbrella" added to your policy. An umbrella is exactly what it sounds like. It covers every aspect of your policy like an umbrella, kinda binds all the loop holes so nothing can snag you in the case of a claim.

You best tactic is to ask what the dealership that you're doing the event for requires and then go from there.
