anyone know what inverted front end set up will fit on an 04 R6 other than the 05 setup which seams to be impossible to find

if you find 05 tripples you can put any 50mm forks in there.. but i would imagine that r1 and the new r6r forks and tripples would prob match up.

the 05 r6 tripple would be best tho cuz you can run the clip ons on top without having to lower the front end

You can run the V model front end, triples and all. You just have to throw a 1/2 spacer under the top triple to make up for the longer steering stem. I prefer clipons under the triple so that was my choice. but the 05 triples will work as well, if you can actually find a set and thats your thing.

do the v forks work with the spacers and wheel of the 05? or do you have to get new spacers and wheel?

I used the complete front end, wheel and all. Im pretty sure that the 05 spacers will be fine.
