r1 front end conversion

started to do my r1 front end conversion on my 636. so far so good. tomorrow ill have my lower triple bored out and should have pics and how to up tomorrow if anyone is thinking about doing this....

good ****, ive been wanting to do r1 front end for while... there is a good thread on here somewhere. One of the UK guys did one on an f4i

so far so good. only problem im having now if figuring how much i have to bore out the lower triple. someone mentions 1mm but the difference in forkes in 4mm

It is 1mm i have got 05 r1 forks in my 636 the lower triple will then spread enough to slide the fork leg in then, don't take any more than 1 mm out as when you tighten the pinch bolts the clamp will bottom out and the fork leg will be loose
