Haha nice. There is a women by me with a gsxr 1000 chopper from ransom haha. Cool slingshot project. That's my favorite platform to build on. My oiler is mixed from a cbr, vfr and duc 1098.

Re: custom cage
I'm still wondering if this mount is bolted up, and if so, how
IMO if it's not bolted, then that extra support is completely worthless, and you pretty much just have sliders on the bike linking each side together.. Couple good drops and good by motor mounts
If it is bolted up, then you should be good to go, should be a decent little cage

Re: custom cage
if it has a pin of some sort welded to the back that slides into a hole or a hollow swing arm tube it is a good idea. because it will stop the cage from bending up ward from a drop cause its technically a race rail. but i would defiantly run some kind of slider on that thing or it will dig in and something bad will happen.
and also does n e one know where i can get sliders for this since the bars are thin and not as beefy as most cages on the market???? just want to know in case i ever need new ones i like to have a spare set just in case lol

Re: custom cage
not postive but the part circled in red i think is 1 of the motor mount...if the cage is like mine he welded the motor mount bolt to the cage on the other side its prob open and the nut is prob visable for that molunt....i gotta get some pics up of my cage
