r6 triples on 600rr

r6 triples on 600rr

need some info. can't find it on the search button. wondering if anyone knows what it take for the r6 triples to work with the 600rr frame???

will they just bolt and go or do i need to get the bearing for the top triple.

You need to use a honda tripple with the same od ie;48mm 50mm then use the r6 forks, wheel, breaks ect ect. Have seen this done with a GSXR guy put a R6 front end on it. The spaceing on the Honda and R6 tripples are not the same. I don't think so anyways. Using it seens strange.

well i have been using a1997 gsxr 750 forks and rim but wanted to upgrade. im always doing something different.

arent both the RR forks and the R6 forks 50mm,, if im right they are, just throw the r6 forks into your RR triples..

thats right, the RR forks are 45mm, and the r6 are 50mm

well here is one for ya. if have 954 triples. also i put a gsxr 1000 triples on an F4i. so i was just wondering if someone had done it yet? i read on here a while back about someone putting an R1 lower triple on there bike with a 954 top triple and it worked. just don't remember how.

thats not even possible because the diameter of the r1 shaft if much bigger than that of hondas. just compare the sizes of the triple tree nuts.

What year R6 triples are you trying to run? Im sure you can get it to work. I have an 02 f4i and put GSXR 1000 Triple and R1 forks on it with an R6 Front wheel...

it should be just like the gsxr one we put in zacs f4i because that 929 tripple just slid right into your RR. check the link i posted. have you tried sliding them into the 929 trpples?
