i own an 02 f4i with 954 front end that i put on,,,,heres my question ? My steering feels a little stiff ,,,,,,,almost if i have a stablelizer on wich i did but took off cuz it felt to stiff..... why might this be? does anyone else have this set up? please help,

re-check that you installed the bearing properly. then also check the steering stem nuts...look in your manual for how much but alot of people crank them down way more then needed. start there first I would bet its one of those 2 things

looked into it and the steering stem nut has a tork spec wich i more than likely over tightened cuz i didnt have that special socket.............thanks

well there is the spanner tool that you use for the first nut, it really not that tight so don't overdue it. then you put on the second one basically like hand tight and a tiny bit more to line up the lock washer, then put your triple on and torque the **** out of your triple tree nut. If you dont have it figured out by tomorrow. I will look it up just send me a pm. I gotta get to bed

It's in your tool kit. It is also used to adjust the spring preload on the rear shock.

No. They are unobtainable at any price because the spanner tool is so valuable.

Did you swap the bearing races in the frame? The 954 has needle bearings and it feels weird after swapping. At least mine did.

evrything i used is from stock f4i .......

you dont need a spanner tool use a screwdriver and a hammer
