i need help 05 636 and 04 636 question......
i lost 1st and 2nd gear in my 05 636 and my friend has a blown 04 636 motor.
i was just wondering if any of the gears in the 04 tranny will fit in 05?

no they will not fit. just buy them. On 02 zx6r it cost me $100 each gear and a full day i spent doing all that.
while you at it change shift forks.
and also trans filter/or clean the tras filter.
Another way you can take the gear to machine shop and get it fixed.
