the 2nd gear spreader to running outa gas front fliping over the bars with the bike riding you...its always fun when you stop traffic and noone even offers to help no big deal luckily im riding an f4i and it started right up even though i couldnt ride it home, ill get some rash pics up tomorrow but i def. got lucky tonight make sure to keep your gas filled to the top i know i will from now on

 

running outta gas mid wheelie sucks... happen to me twice on my 05 750

yep ran out of gas mid jump to frog . was only 1st gear but ****** sucked...at least your good for the most part..

 

Id fill my tank every time id go ride for this exact reason. The run outa gas front flip mcdurf happened to me several times.

 

damn dude that sucks! in your case no one wanted to help you which sucks but when i dumped it everyone was stopping offering to call the ambulance or the cops! f*** that keep them outta here!

 

i had it happen to me before also. i started running guages again

 

Not running gauges is retarded Why wouldn't you want to see your bike temp, gas, and oil for the long ones Never used to run gauges when you put them on its the why didnt i do this earlier ! Kind of like going to a dual caliper from stock.

 

I did the same thing,3rd gear spreader, ran outta gas, regained conciencnece with like 5 or 6 people above me on phones with 911, imediatly grabbed my shoes that flew off, picked the bike up and tore off like a bat outta hell, people must have taught I had just robbed a bank or some ****.haha

Riding one on the way to work one moring last week and bike bogged out like i ran out of gas. Set it down and luckily rolled far enough to get off the highway. Ended up having to push it about 200 yards more down the road to work. Sucked. Bitches get heavy after a while. Especially a old school 900RR. Lol Still had gas
Carburaters are a pain in the ***.

 

my fuel light takes the day off sometimes, i have 2 huge dents in my tank from runnin out of gas but my bike just dies on a wheelie then when I come crashin to the ground i have about 5 or so miles to get to the gas station.

 

actually I was pretty fucked up, spent like 18 days in the hospital due to complications

I had to push mine like 2 miles at like 3 in the morning and it was like 35 degrees but I was pouring sweat,haha

 

One of the guys that rides with us had a zx10 lowered and was chasing a wheelie all the way up onto one of these 100' to the ground overpasses. He hit his rev limiter and slammed down so hard he busted the oil pan. He hit the retaining wall at the top of the overpass. When we got stopped he had scratches all over the fairings and motor side cover and the bike had sliders so we were wondering why the slider didn't stop this. Finally someone noticed that the bottom of the slider had got on top of the retaining wall !!!! Seat suck'n moment and surprised there was one left on his bike after that one.

Rev limiter can be a bitch too.
