another dumb *** question from a squid
i am just a poor broke ****** tring to get into stunting. picked up a r6 cheap and put a cage and 12 bar on it but the back rim is so bent that it will not hold air. do not have $200 or so for a rim right now. has anyone ran a tube in the rear tire and run low air pressure? will it hold up?

Re: another dumb *** question from a squid
hit it with a hammer, but put a wood block inbetween the hammer and block. ive seen that method used before. otherwise try ebay.i got a rear rim for my 03-04 636 for $80 shipped and it came with a rotor and spare cushdrive. so after i blow a tire i just swap the sprocket and mount the rim. straight money.

Re: another dumb *** question from a squid
use a 12" cresent wrench(the bigger wrench, the better the leverage),with the tire off, pinch the lip of the rim where its bent with the wrench and SLOWLY pry it back till it looks good,"SLOWLY "is the key word,if you pry it to hard or to fast then you'll crack the lip or break off a section of the lip.Hammers work good also but one wrong hit and your fucked.
