Stunt Sprocket Setup

Hey guys, I'm looking for advice for what sprocket size/chain size I shouldd be looking for? I'm going to be stunting a 06 cbr 600rr, parking lot sessions only. No street riding. So, if you can tell me what you use or brand you prefer would be great. I see that alot of guys just say go 10 up in the rear sprocket and if that's the case how do you figure out what chain length you use? Another thing is what most of you prefer for the 600rr a 520 conversion or stick with stock. Thanks everyone and appreciate the help.

Re: Stunt Sprocket Setup

I had an 04 with a 50 and it was pretty sick but I still rode it down the high way to and from class, if I was going for a lot bike I'd probably go bigger like a 60 or 65ish its really all about what you like. S.I. makes good products so anything with their name on it you'll not be disappointed with. there is also a guy on here from Arkansas I think that makes them to your spec. His name is Drgnazz I believe check him out.

56 shoud be good for that bike, i had a 58 and that was great but it dident need that much,,, and go for the conv. its cheaper ,just get a x-wing rk cuz they dont stretch that much ,as long as u keep her ajusted.

This is my first big sprocket and am currently building my first stunt bike. I can do wheelies first and second (stock setup) and tried teaching myself brake control with my foot, but am worried I might wreck my street 600rr. I've picked up a salvaged 06 600rr and am building it into a street fighter for parking lot use only. Note: I want to learn to slow everything down and become more controlled. Also, I will be adding a hand brake with HoHey dual caliper bracket setup.

Re: Stunt Sprocket Setup

LOL... good stuff, but I'd rather make it easier on myself... If you can do full stunt on stock then your better then most of us. (dink) we're talking newbie here... there's no need for that. looking for support not sarcasm..
