I still don't know why everyone is having frame issues with 636's. I beat the **** outta mine and have 4 seasons on it. I jump this thing off my trailer and everything. Unless you're pitching the bike every day hard on the cage and mouse trapping it all the time.....

I have done a few of these now. I done hanksy bike (White 636) with 07 R1 forks in this thread.
Here are some pics of the bike im building at the mo. I find this works great and stops the cracking around the engine mounts/head stock.
There is a plate on the underside too which ya cant see in thes pics.

So guess what I get to do, I either get to tear my bike down and get my motor mount welded again or do a frame swap, awesome huh? Still rather deal with this then ride another f4i.

No it was broke before I bought it, A cage got pushed thru the motor mount cuz it was Ridin with no bolt in the cage before I got the bike. I fixed it but it's cracking again so ****..... No worries tho cuz I just bought a spare frame.

that works. hope i never brake another frame, but with my 2000 zx6r i got a frame for $.99 plus $99.99 shipping so i didnt make out too bad
