Yeah ive seen one done like that.... just hold onto something like your roof, and park the bike under it, or a tree branch, so you can kind hold onto that and aim better. Once you get the hard part done, then go smooth it out with a rubber mallet or however you normally would
) just felt like throwing out the pic... some one dropped it in a stealership

got the new tank on and dented it.......smashed it to the bottom and had to use a screw driver to open it up so its slow fillilng for me!!

its pretty good so far, you can definatly make it alot better. take a ballpen hammer to get the lip better,dont hit it too hard,hit it like 200 times to slowly form the lip,dont hit at a downward angle either, angle it towards the seat, hope that makes sense.

ok i did some searching but came up blank....i woke up this morning to find some gas on the ground below my bike....seeping from the petcock......i tightened eveything down a little more but it seems to becoming from the hole in the tank where the petcock bolts to.......anyone know the exact torque specs for those two bolts???? or is there some sealer i can put around it?????

and tanus...are you talking about making th lip a little more sharper???if so yea i was thinking about it but ive made it this far and would hate to screw up!!
