Rear Handbrake option

Hey guys and girls. I am purchasing a stunt bike from a friend and he has two options for me. One being a 636 rear handbrake, and the other being a brembo rear handbrake. For a beginner, what would you recommend and why? Pro's and cons of both would be good. Thanks.

Re: Rear Handbrake option

there is a brembo clutch master that has the reservoir built into the master and it makes it so you cant mount the clutch over the handbrake so you dont want that one ....

some yamahas have brembo front brake masters that will work for a hand brake but they arent the same as the aftermarket brembos

Re: Rear Handbrake option

Yeah i can see the difference's i just can't justify spending the big $$$ on a brembo on a £500 shitpiece!

You tell me a good Yamaha front master, and i'll hook it up!

OMR's the man! Hobnobs in the post for you old bean!

AFAIK the R6, and the R1, 07-08 use the same Master.
