i need 50mm vortex clip ons for my 04 636 and i thought everybody got the 0 degree clip ons. vortex's website says the new ones are 7 degrees. will 7 degree be ok? and where is the cheapest place to get these suckers. so far i am seeing 150-170

have u checked at vortexracing.com i got mine for $115, i didnt kno they had new ones or watever...But yea just look around you might find some cheap ones. If i would of seen this earlier i could of hooked you up with the one on my bike but its in storage now cause the gay *** army tryin to send me to alaska but im stil gonna ride

I got my bars from sketchy...do it. Just don't ask him for grips cuz he forgets to look...haha

vortex a few years back were 10 degrees and are currently 7. theyve never been 0 degrees. if u want 0 FI sells them. if i were you id just use the stock 636 bars and flip them as theyre the same bend as vortex and you can fit a handbrake on there with all your controls.

Yeap...I came to realise that after i had bought my vortex bars but now i think it was a waste of money realy flippin the stock ones is the same ****...

i looked on freestyle ingenuity's page and didn't see any replacement bars. im not sure if id rather have vortex or freestyle. hmmm

FI all day. I love zero degree. I will never rock another stock/stunt bike without them.

I love my flipped 7 from vortex they are great after about 5 good mousetraps they are 0 degrees

FI makes replacement bars look at HAI bikeshop website, all the bars are the same size circumference anyway just I think the FI bars are a couple inches longer thatn vortex

ive ridden a number of bikes with 0's and im not real impressed. they dont feel that much diff than stock clip ons for me. i prefer the 7 degrees flipped as its a more dirtbike feel and raises ur body position up...

Besides length?? you mean angle.

One is angled at 7deg, ones at zero. Whats the problem. Flip your current clip ons (probably 7 or 10) and see if you like the angle. I personally hate the angle your given when you flip stock clip ons. They work, dont get me wrong, but I prefer zero over angled. Really its a matter of preference.

no i thought the freestyles were 2 inches longer than vortex. i dont have stock clip ons i have dirtbike bars. i sold my clipons a long time ago lol

Gotcha. Damn 2 inches. Im not sure. I know FI are long and you can adjust the length to suit your style. It allows for handbrake, clutch and controls. good luck.

but it doesnt matter what clamps i get cus the any bars will fit. i think i want the vortex bars. hope its not too goofy coming from dirtbars. anybody got vortex bars 50mm for sale?
