Thats a STAR brand rotor, the same ones Hohey sells

And I highly doubt that all the bolts just snapped on their own under braking, I bet one came loose backed out a little and the head got caught up on something...Im sure if you look around your caliper bracket, there is probably some damage where the bolt got caught up....

There is more to this then simply sheering all 3 bolts at once, look at how the rotor has been streached out of shape...That leads me to believe one bolt got caught up on something

It's a single sheer load. I agree there is no way they all just snapped. The holes in the rotors had to be ovaled out and impacted the bolts over and over. The streching out of shape could be when 3 of the 4 bolts were sheared and the rotor got hung up on something and pulled the last bolt through. I wonder if the holes in the rotor are the right size and if the rotor material is heat treated properly. It looks like the material is way too malleable (soft).

Re: This happen to anybody......?

damn....never seen this happen i never run locktite on any of my rotor or break caliper bolts because when they heat up and cool down they get plenty tight anyway plus if you locktite em, the next time you go to remove the bolts you end up stripping the damn allen head out trying to remove em

when i read the title to this posting i opened it up ready to flame on sum idiot who snapped off sum rotor bolts because they didnt use a torque wrench

Good points. I have the over sized STAR rotor for the Kawis right here on my desk..And the fit for the bolts is the same as the OEM rotor, but Im not sure about the hardening because I havent used it yet....However in past experiences I agree most aftermarket rotors Ive tired arent as hard as the OEM stuff...And cant take the same kind of beating the OEM stuff can....

Could be but since the rim is aluminum, you would very likely pull the treads out of the rim before stretching the bolt..

Re: This happen to anybody......?

Idk. Maybe the bolts backed out a lil then it broke? It snapped 3 bolts off in the rim,I drilled them out already
So I think the rim will be fine. I slam that rear brake a lot when I drift and the rotorhas been on for over
A year. Upgrade to the HoHeezle big rotor kit I guess

Re: This happen to anybody......?

Yeah I seen it a lot but not on that rotor.. Maybe it was overtoqure or it got corroded badly... I recommended stainless steel bolt.... It works for me just fine cuz the strength of the bolt n the less chance of gettin corroded... But that's from my experinces on waverunners n jetskis....

More than likely they backed out and started oveling out the holes. Then the repeated impact of slamming the brake finally did the bolts in.
