When I set up my 07 I got zero degree clip ons and flipped the triple to put them on top, lately i'm wondering what if any advantage this is giving me. I'm 6'2" so my reach is long maybe under the triple like stock is the better choice and my key won't be pointing down.
Give me some opinions and experience/preferances flipping the triple for clip ons on top or keeping them under it. Thanks

 

Any one got 2 cents, hate to switch it all around then switch it back.

 

probably the only advantage would be for tank combos IDK

 

taller endos and you wont kick your key on pull through

 

im about ur height and run them on top....for one your front ends a little lower, stoppies snap up quicker, and the closer my bars are to me, the less hunched over i am, the better it feels

 

Welll I ain't pullin through ****,yet. I just flipped the top triple didn't have to lower the triple on the forks. In thinking I would have the bike taller with out pulling them to my chest or hanging offf the back as much, body would end closer to the bike with them under. Just might have to experiment.

 

I'm 6' 2", also Joe. I notice that I am WAY more hunched over when I ride with lower bars. I have 10 degree upward angle bars, and that puts them at the perfect hieght for me, and of course...they're above the triple. Makes SS feel SUPER comfy...

 

+1. I tried runnin em on bottom but it was so uncomfortable jump up to special ks and tank tricks....very awkward!
