Stunted a 98 CBR 900 for the first time !!
So my buddy asked me to take his 98 CBR900 out last night. He wanted to see it up in the air. I had never ridden one before.
I can now understand why this is the stunt bike of choice...
Wow the balance point was real nice and the endos felt alot more controllable than my gsxr1000.
Might be time to look for a crashed one for a winter project...HMMM
What would be the best year to look for, keeping in mind it is purely for stunting......
Cheers

96-99 are the best ones, with emphasis on 98-99 due to the newer front suspension, better brakes. but try to stick with the 96 or newer because it has the new motor that is a lot better than previous years. nice thing about the RRs is that parts are interchangable over several years

SAAAAAAAAWEEEEEEEEET! Easy brake conversion huh? I'm all about upgrading to 929 or 954 brakes. My buddies 954 will freakin' stop on a dime with very little brake pressure and awesome feel. If the brakes suck on a 97 900 maybe I will just shop some more for a 98-99. I already had to deal with sucky brakes before on my 02' gix 1k. I still have a hard time believing suzuki made such a great bike and stuck brakes on it that felt like drum brakes from a 68 ford pick up. Thanks for all the input!

I have a 97 I will be selling about mid september for 3800 with almost 12000 miles on it and full 2 brothers carbon ehaust, new paint, brakes, pilot sports, carbon hugger, zero gravity shield, and more . It has a bent 2nd gear shift fork. Not that big of a deal to fix though. There is a local shop here that says if I pull the motor they will only charge 150 for labor parts will be about 200. pm me if your interested.
