Re: F4i Shorty Exhaust?

I put my friends stock R6 can on my F4i the beginning of the season and loved the way it sounds. I told a few people on other forums and everyone acted like it was unheard of and a really bad idea so I'm glad a i came across this post seeing other people do it too. for the people with the R6 can on the F4i notice if your tip gets a dark brown? I know most exhausts get some kind of color but I think a dark brown is running rich If I remember and just wondering if you all noticed it too?

Re: F4i Shorty Exhaust?

I may be crazy, but I think my new high mount exhaust helped my low end torque a lot. I had just a regular cut down slip-on on my bike, but after this, I think all the extra mid pipe made me gain a little low end torque back. It could just be in my head, but it seems to chug better at idle.
