ok was thinkin about getin some axle sliders for my 07 zx6r i just picked up and am in the process of setting up...

ive havent really looked to hard for them but i know powers makes them..

im not a tight wad but i think they are like around 80 bucks shipped a set..i thought that was kinda high....plus i didnt really wana **** with powers cause it took me like 4 months to get my race rails for my gsxr from them..talked to them like every week and was just told lies on top of lies

just wonderinng what people are running and how much they are

thanks in advance

Re: axle slider question....????

I just hooked these up on my friends bike - buy some bmx pegs and a long threaded rod which you can buy at home depot - put a nut on each side and you're done for $25. **** that $80 ****

yep once you have the front wheel on and tight just pull the bolt out of the front axle slide the thread rod and sliders in and crankem down.

just keep a check on the pinch bolts on the axle i ran them on my cbr 900
and they worked well.keep the bolt so you can use it to preload the axle every time you change the front tire.

Re: axle slider question....????

drill a 1/2" hole in the bolt and use 3/8" all thread then there is no need to worry about the pinch bolts... It's what i did, but dont use them anymore.
