Sprocket and Chain choice?
I need a sick looking sprocket... I remember seeing custom designs even on here, where do I get one of those? What type of chain do I need? I don't understand lengths, etc etc -- I know running an oversized sprocket requires a bigger chain unsure which one would be needed and be good, decent priced, etc -- any recommendations?

I never have to says these things, others take care of it.
But call phill at moto-heaven.com. GOOGLE sporkets. Look at stunt related websites for products offered, maybe call them for spefic questions like pitch, lengeth, number of teeth or if they offer sprockets with pretty patterns cut out on them.

Re: Sprocket and Chain choice?
kelm.. you have almost 10,000 posts,
you should know this...
look on your chain. every link will have the same number on in like 525 or 530 or 520, if its a f4i most likely its 525 ( could be wrong ) but if your going for a front and rear sprocket you can go what ever size you want.. as far as chain goes always get a 120 link, you can take links out. so pick what ever size sprocket you want, i would go with a 60 rear and -1 in front, thats more than enough.. but seriosly man get the **** off the computer and go ride.. you've been on here for 6 years... people hate because this is the same question people post as there first post, which i'm sure if we look back you've asked this before as well.. either way, good luck. i also remember seeing the custom sprockets, try google.com

and in six years, I haven't really honestly owned a bike. I've owned in my name a 03 F4i (sold) went out of the game for a while and just posted on here never learned anything on that. 07 R6 never had a cage, so all interstate and backroad stunting. Was fun while it lasted, wrecked it. Yep, you probably heard about it. Got an F4i didn't like the general way it was setup so I'm getting my favorite color scheme, ever, on the F4i period and making it a clean stunter.
Super stoked. :
and thank you for the good luck.

Re: Sprocket and Chain choice?
the 525 520 530 are all pitches.. i personally run a 520 dirtbike chain, you don't need to get a chain thats any bigger than that. Call Lee over at Vortex and tell him i sent you over there. He'll answer any questions you could possibly have 1-813-386-1012 he'll hook you up with a deal too!

Re: Sprocket and Chain choice?
They've got sprocket and chains? What is the advantage though? if 525 comes stock, why would you run a 520 chain which is meant for a DB.... i understand the advantages DB bars have, by DB chain? lol. Explain please. and I'll give your boy a call today tell him thanks.

Re: Sprocket and Chain choice?
520 is no advanatage.. its what my bike came with, i got the dirtbike chain for the simple thinking that they pop the clutch alot harder then we do so i figured it would do the job, + they are little beefier. And yes they sell chains and sprockets with super fast shipping and low prices!!

Re: Sprocket and Chain choice?
and now I'm asking questions about what those 500 525 numbers are exactly, and how to go about converting to an oversized sprocket. I'm trying to do this all on my own and I HAVE ******* DIFFICULTY WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? you can keep poitning it out. I'm not DENYING i'm retarded. I could give two ***** less what you think about me, your a shitty person at a life. period. cause least I'm out there doing my own thing and helping out anyone ANYTIME that i can. So keep on posting, I appreciate your comments.

Re: Sprocket and Chain choice?
How2stunt.com and go to the bike build for newbs page on sl and there's the same ****** page on stuntusa and I'm sure the info is on another forum too.
I'm starting to see a trend on sl, people are
posting to get their numbers higher so 14 year old jimi riding his zuma thinks so and so is cool because he's got 18 gazillion ******* posts. Use your resources and quit asking people every little question because your too lame to click search.
