I was recently sent a radiator cage to test as well as his custom fairing stay. The radiator cage is made of a laser cut, thin gauge steel that is so strong once its bolted on that i nearly kicked the bike over when i kicked the radiator, and it doesnt even weigh 1lb. It is painted gloss black and comes with the lower bracket that mounts to the block. Mine actually has about 5 inches of clearance from tire to radiator with the 1000rr forks and 929 triples. The fairing stay is my favorite part though. Its made of steel and is very strong and is also painted gloss black. The headlight actually mounts to the stay with some self tapping screws that are supplied. As well as it bolts ur headlight to ur upper fairing in all the normal locations. The stay bolts on the the bike in the normal location of course, but the upper fairing bolts to the stay through the 4 lower windscreen bolt holes thus adding alot of much needed stability (again bolts are supplied). The gauge cluster is in the perfect location as well, allowing u to turn ur clipons out without rubbing. My upper fairing is chopped waaay down as ull see in the pic below. Everything fits perfect just as he said it would after many conversations on the phone finally somebody makes a worth while fairing stay for the f4i! The radiator cage sells for 75$ and the fairing stay sells for 130$ and thats dirt cheap. heres a few pics of some of the stuff they make for the f4i.

Re: Damage Control Products are AMAZING

Everyone with a full fairing f4i needs this stay. I have had some really bad crashes since putting the stay on and my upper and headlight are still really solid. If the bike had the stock stay everything would have been broken and falling apart.

Re: Damage Control Products are AMAZING

My custom "12 standard zip tie" radiator mounting setup stood up through a 70mph cartwheel just fine, but I'm still upgrading to a DCP cage for the rebuild.

Re: Damage Control Products are AMAZING

My 2 new 636 radiator support cages showed up last yesterday as they told me it would. Installing them was a breeze, took me 15 minutes on each bike.
Wow they are simply amazing. If you own a kawasaki 636 (or any bike with know radiator tearing from stunting) you are a fool if you don't order one of these right now. For years I have been using big zip ties(which always break eventually) I even used some meal strapping with bolts(worked but looked like crap) Now All of my radiator issues are done. The supports weigh nothing and are diesel strong. These radiator supports are just as important as a crash cage hands down. Thank you damage control for making such and awesome product.

One of my radiators has all the mounting tabs and the other has the 2 upper and 1 lower tab ripped off. I would like to say that the support fit perfect but since my lower tab is broken the radiator kinda just floats around inside the support and did move a little. until I just ran a zip tie around the lower fan mounting arm right around the bottom radiator support tube, Problem solved. And I bet using safety wire would be even better.

So yes what they say is true it works with the mounting tabs or even without all the mounting tabs.

Re: Damage Control Products are AMAZING

I love the fact I don't have to look at my rad anymore and worry if the tabs are pulling away. Been tossing the bike all season and the rad cage is holding up like a champ. Way to go DCP
