The team thing has been difficult...we all grew into the sport from nothing and knowing very little to doing shows and getting paid, as long as everyone shares the same vision and long term goals, ride often together and encourage/help eachother out, most of the drama is minimal, and last a shorter duration...

exaclty what we do. i make sure people know that the only reason that i would like to get paid is cause its not free to ride. chits expensive over time and we just wanna ride. keep that in mind and yall should go far.

 

really handling a team for a longer period of time sucks.. my team RWP has been around for about 3,5 years now, and it has been a pain for me.. only one other guy EVER hustles a show, 1 am the only one posting pics and making vids and filming and trying to push myself. i have to push the others to try something new instead of ANOTHER spreader or ANOTHER crop circle to the right. I hustle all the sponsorships except for beforementioned "guy", he hooked me and himself up with a good sponsor. for the last year i simply quit hooking the other guys up with sponsors, and they kinda lost the ones they had. it almost never occurs we all ride together anymore, let alone we ride two days in the weekend. and its on the spot between 13h00-14h00 and off again in 5.. just frustrating. i would suggest you get ahead and cut the slackers off and only hook up the ones that are truely motivated!

That's what I tried to do......but one certain member is ignoring all contact. He's trying to give the silent treatment or some ****, like I'm a chick!

 

they are actually so NOT interested, they dont even look on SL for vids,pics or inspiration..

is this an indirect accusation as to you saying i put people down because they dont have the skills i have?

and no wonder why you think you have a good team.......splitting up beer and chicken wings between 4 people should be pretty dramaless

But for real we are not on the competition level just yet... still growing and riding together. We will get there... and we all push eachother to ride, and give props when someone does soemthing new... even if it needs work... Its all fun!

we have a rule.... this rule has proabably helped the team more than any other rule... Once an Adrenaline Boy always one... no one can be voted off...they can only quit... if we allow them to... so no drama of worrying about being crapped on for one stupid F up!

second rule.. you have to work to get paid... dont show up... dont ride or help the riders... no dirt!~

3rd rule - if your bike is rideable then your expected to ride with the team at LEAST 2 times a month, and work on show material.

4th rule- Kill it... Still working on this one... but its a rule nonetheless!

 

these 4 rules apply to every team.....of course

but are you saying that if one teammate was breaking all these rules you would not tell them to kick rocks......come on now

 

Not an inderect acuusation... I think people just take you too seriously at times... Most people cant tell when I am joking either... Yoru a great rider and people tend to be intimidated and take your comments too seriously, They dont realize your just pushing them to the next level...you figure they got that part down...moving on to the next and sometimes it sounds like its never enough.... its all good though! I try not to take you that way...

Just wish you would ride more....

there really never is enough to pushing yourself, no matter how good you are you can always be better, or there is always someone thats better.

this is why your still a good guy to me, you take critisizm and either push it aside and do your thing, or you learn from it. getting mad is stupid

i think its alot like a band, you either make music together that makes you and other people happy because your doing what you love
or your doing it for your pride and you jus want to be the frontman rockstar.
Its usualy some egos getting in the way, the smartest bands and i could name many,
do it and do it good forever.
If it comes from your heart instead of your pride then its easy to find a way to work together.
i would think that with some guys, two people is almost one to many because of pride.
im not a pro stunter but i am a drummer/guitar player
