Handbrake question??

I was just curious about how everyones handbrake feels? If that makes sense.. basically when i ride, mine feels like i gotta pull it in somewhat hard .. like when im riding down the road i guess i feel that i should barely be able to squeeze it and lock my tire up? I have to use like 2 or 3 fingers and squeeze pretty hard for the tire to lock up. IDK maybe it needs bled more?

Re: Handbreak question??

it depends what master cylinder you got for your handbrake...i used to have 06 gsxr 1000 master cylinder as handbrake n it was pain in *** then i switched to brembo 16 x 18, hohey 4 piston caliper setup..i love the way it works...one finger the wheel is locked more breakin power....

there is this guide in how to section about how to bleed your handbrake and squeeze every bit of air out of your lines, maybe that will do ...

Re: Handbrake question??

invest in a brembo, problem solved..all others just will not come close and you will need to use two fingers to get it stopping right. You wanna be able to use one finger on the clutch and one on the brake equally....buy the intersection dvd and you will have a good representation of this.
