too small and the tires are too small , harbor freight has 4 by 8 trailers with 12 inch tires that go on sale for 299 pretty often and even if they arent on sale harbor freight is like a yard sale you can get the manager and negotiate , just tel him you want the trailer for 299 and 99% of the time you will get it

 

I actually am contemplating on buying this, its small enough to just put on the side of my garage

make sure you get the one with the big tires , those little ones get hot on the highway and blow

I have the Harbor Freight one that OMR is talking about. It's great and the bigger tires make a huge difference. If you can't scrape up the extra 100 bucks though, I don't see a problem with this one. The reviews were pretty good too.

 

I got a 4"x6" snowbear trailer from Home Depot a few years back for like $399, it's been great so far.....

 

i have this one. works pretty good but it is a little flimsy when u get 2 bikes onto it

 

my buddy pulls two on his but he put aluminum diamond plate on the top so that stiffened it up pretty damn good

 

These aren't bad trailers at all. So do you have to insure and register these kinds of trailers and get 'em plated?

 

depends on the state, here anything thats being towed has got to be tagged and insured

 

I'm in Illinois. I'm guessing its the same here as you bud. So hopefully these utility trailers come with a title then of some sort?

thank you! Well I can't imagine insurance would be too much on a 200-300 dollar utility trailer lol.

 

In NY atleast, the trailer is insured by the vehicle towing it.

 

+1 same in MA, but you still have to register it and get a plate.
