Whats a good place to buy em?
depends on the sweep and rise you want.

i had the scary gary bars on for awhile but have a hity right wrist and couldnt throttle as well as with a less swept bar(or more straight).

alot of people like the scary gary bars because there alot more like the feal of lipons only taller.

some like a straight bar because they require less effort to hang from.

the rise is a pref choice IMO

Re: What dirt bike bars are good?

also, SG bars are longer before the bend so your clutch and HB line up with room for switch housings even

alot of reg cheap DBbars will bend to soon so you only get so much room to handle yo biz

Re: What dirt bike bars are good?

were those pulled back towards you or do they sweep back alot when mounted straight up and down.

if they were up and down,id say try ordering some scary gary bars from hai

if they were more of a straight bar and your clutch on the HB side barley had room to mount before the bend, then jus go with a standard db with a high rise

Re: What dirt bike bars are good?

ya they make a great bar but that rise looks low,if theres a option to choose the rise and sweep on the site, then get the taller rise,at least a 3inch and then when you mount them pull them back as far as the old ones were

Re: What dirt bike bars are good?

I run the pro taper 1 1/8 bars and they seem too hold up pretty well. they're a little wide though.
