05/06 636 Tail saver?
Aight so i put a fresh set of plastics on and I'm guessing someone has fiberglassed these or they are not OEM like the guy said. After about 3 or 4 sessions on the bike my tail is starting to crack from where I stand. What are the tricks everyone has for this? My other plastic i ran for a year and a 1/2 never had this problem..

Tailsaver or you can build up a bunch of fiberglass mesh that they use for body work on the inside of the tail. With doin this you have to run it to the outside of the seat past where you would stand.

na dude its really easy, and has nothing to do with ur paint....
take it off, flip it over, cut a bunch of 12-4 sheets of fiberglass mat, and get a tub if resin.
use a brush and just dab the resin on top of every layer of fiberglass...
u can build it up rock solid, just make sure u tape off ur paint on the outside and dont jam too much resin on the mounting points
its a decent afternoon project

if you do build it up with fusor use an acid brush and dont just wipe the fusor over the fiberglass sheet make sure you poke at it and actually push the fusor into the sheet to get a good bond. and grind the back of the tail a little bit to rough it up and give the fusor something to adhere to. it wont stick if its not it will just harden up be easy to pop off.
