F4i ram air options

I took the ram air tubes off my airbox because my brake lines were hitting them when the bars were turned all the way. I immediately saw a decline in low end torque. I taped off one of the openings and its still a dog. Has anyone figured anything else out to cure this problem? I suspect those ram air tubes increase the velocity of the air as it goes through from the 4" round opening down to 1.5" roughly.

I wish it was..... I can feel it just riding it, there is slight hesitation when i pin it and it has less torque.

Re: F4i ram air options

I haven't ridden this f4i WITH the air ducts on, so I don't know about the difference, but I can tell you that it bogs BAD!!! When I try to do drifts, it usually wont break the tire cause it takes a second for it to get past the bog..... Im anxious to see where this thread goes... Good Thread YSR!!!
