Sooooo Stoked
picking my stunt piece tomorrow. cant wait to feel it out, shake it down, and get it dialed. heres the run down on it:
Its a 2002 f4i with about12,xxx miles built to stunt but never really was stunted. I just didn't have the time or motivation so its up for sale.
Has Powers cage and 12 bar, dual caliper handbrake, pro taper fat bars, -2+4 Vortex sprockets, braided lines, EZ pull clutch lever, full Micron exhaust, PCIII, and some other stuff I am probably forgetting.
Its been maintained VERY well and always ran with Mobil1 oil.
Also includes:
Spare motor.........works and has 20,xxx miles
A full set of fairings
stock clip ons
an upper fairing stay
plus a bunch of other odds and ends parts

Re: Sooooo Stoked
just talked to the seller of the bike tonight. he's got a custom jobber on the dual caliper brake set up. basically copied a hohey on a water jet. used an aprilia lever/master cyl. anyone wanna take a stab on how it'll work out?

Re: Sooooo Stoked
would the full micron and PCIII offer any advantage on a stunt bike? if not I may wind up selling them off so I can go with different gearing and maybe some fresh paint.

Re: Sooooo Stoked
when i first started out i had a 750 with pc3. it seemed to me like it had a power spike in the midrange and at the time it was a problem. but then again i wasnt clutching up high and was chasing through the gear. maybe it was hurting and maybe i was looking for an excuse for why i sucked but it did smooth out the fuel curve by removing the map.

Re: Sooooo Stoked
I've been thinking I may give it a go without the PC3 and see how I like it. I can always have Smithers tune a custom map if I think the PC3 would work out better over stock. I gotta give props to Smithers Customs for keeping my 636 alive and bitchin through 37k of aggressive street riding and yut ughh's. Big thanks to them and Crazy Dan Jackson for guiding my search of a stunt piece. Shake down starts tomorrow. Stoked.
