balancing tires, eh not too much of a difference esp at speed or in lots when u run lower pressure anyways, honestly i havent had a rim balanced since 2004 and i dont notice a difference and were talking thousands n thousands of miles in a year with no balancing. a heavy spot in a rim is such a minimal weight but its so easy to do your own weights as well, normally when you change a tire the rim heavy spots gonna be the same place so often i would just leave the weights where they were n still spin the tire when i'd get home. personal preference i guess u gotta ride without the new balance to see if it matters to you, but all out tire wear you wont notice on your road bike so its whateve

Re: harbor freight tire changer

you can put those little ***** in your tire to balance them..some of u might be like "what the **** is he talking about" i dont know but i saw a guy do it on you tube.. i dont balance mine..the tire it self probly spins a little on the rim from all the wheelie because of low tire pressure..
