Re: F4i fan mod

Get ahold of ATOWNCUSTOMS, he makes a dual radiator fan cage, Leave the stock one alone. The second one you want to wire up separately off the battery to a separate switch and an inline fuse. flip it on in the lot to keep it cool on a hot day and have the security of knowing that you always have a back up fan if the other one stops working. The fan switches on the radiator go out pretty often, mine did. Dont run both fans all the time if you dont need to, drains the battery which will give you power loss and its strain on the stator. Retards that put all kinds of neon lights and **** on their bike usually burn stators up often, they arent designed for that kind of draw.... just so you know.

Re: F4i fan mod

on my gixxer i just found the fan power wires and bugged them to a switch by my seat, so i can turn it on whenever i want... took me like 10 minutes, there was like a thermostat module or something from my fan to my radiator tho that i had to cut the wires and connect them together...

should be very easy to do just tho, my friends f4i has it wired like that too took him the best part 0f 15 minutes to do

Re: F4i fan mod

Ground the power wire that connects to the fan and it will run forever, so put a switch on the wire and zip tie to the frame or wherever...

Re: F4i fan mod

Run a switch in parallel with the thermostat, or a wire if you wanna do it that way. I just did it and it gets annoying if you leave it on so i suggest a switch
