I find that people (neighbors) I know always laugh and smile at me, but when I roll up to the gas station to get a twelve pack most strangers are like, what the **** is this moron doing on that little bike. If only they knew the joy of ridin a fiddy. Just wonderin if I am the only one that gets this kinda reaction, cause I know I am not the only one ridin these things for errands. Post Up

teenagers, and young adults typically look at my like im retarded, and often I get comments like "Don't you think your a little old for that thing?" I just tell them your never too old for 60mpg

And cops, half the cops drive past me and don't even look at me twice.. The other half pull me over and threaten to tow it, and in bad cases, DO tow it and give me tickets

yes, just like you can ride wheelies on the street on a sport bike, break the speed limit, or shoot your neighbor with a gun.

It isn't street legal, if you get stopped, you could be looking at the same tickets as riding a dirt bike on the road, as it is a dirt bike.

No kidding!! I made 5 passes around the lot with one. Little bastard took me down to the ground hard 2 times outa the 5 wheelie attempts and I was done with it haha.

Lessons learned:
0 engine brake
Low BP
Strong enough to drag a grown man down
Low enough to prevent you from getting your feet under ya in a hurry.
Let it go and roll haha!

Haha, you gotta love the little bastards, but respect them too. I have a scar on my shin from a billet footpeg that is more then 5 years old!!

I dont have a dirt bike fifty, but I have a 2-stroke little pocket bike I ride around the block. Never been past a cop, most people smile, and all the little kids smile and point at it with amazement. A lot of people driving just ignore me.

i live in tha city of rochester .and here tha cops dont mess with u usually...wen im killin tha streets threw tha hood i get everyones attention they never seen such a thing done on a 50...i love the reactions i get wen rocin 1 handed circles lookin @ people smiling
